Moon Turf is the equivalent of grass on The Overworld. It completely covers the Moon's surface. As you walk over it, dark spots will appear, resembling footprints.

It is possible to plant tree saplings directly on Moon Turf (Note: this may be a bug) and make them grow with bonemeal or leave them to grow by themselves.
